Through his conference The Strength of Overcoming, Hugo wants to make people aware of their full potential. According to him, there are no limits except those that we impose on ourselves! Thus Hugo demonstrates through his journey as a strong man and his career as an international professional athlete that success depends on oneself and on one's own will to act!
The lecture La force du transcendence is a 50-minute lecture, followed by a question period. It is also possible to adapt the conference according to the needs of the audience. A motivating and inspiring conference not to be missed!
THE STORY
BIOGRAPHY
Having started his career as a police officer for the city of Gatineau in 1996, Hugo is now a fitness coach, television show host, speaker and spokesperson for BMR. Hugo Girard is a former strength athlete, bodybuilder and strongman championship organizer. He is also an entrepreneur and owner of several lines of dietary supplements and is the owner of Hugo Gym St-Jean inc.
A native of Portneuf-sur-Mer on the North Shore of Quebec, he started training at the age of 5 and by 12 he was already determined to become the strongest man in the world. In 2022, he achieved this feat by winning the title of IFSA SuperSeries World Champion. He was the Canadian champion of his sport from 1995 to 2004 as well as the North American champion from 2001 to 2002. One of his most notable feats is pulling an 80-ton Boeing 737 100 feet in 43 seconds.
For more than 10 years, he participated in numerous strongman competitions on the international circuit, winning several titles along the way:
● 6 times the title of the strongest man in the world version IFSA Super Series 2002.
● 6 times the title of the strongest man in Canada.
● 2 times the title of the strongest man in North America.
● 4 times World Muscle Power Champion.
